Early in the morning on October 8th, the Sun was photographed rising behind a prominent Eucalyptus Tree growing in a saddle on the summit of a ridge in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. Twice a year in October and April, if the weather is clear, the Sun viewed from a certain location in Murambi East can be seen rising exactly behind this distant tree as shown in the accompanying slideshow and montage compiled from a time-lapse sequence of 12 photographs taken between 5.39 and 5.47 am. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 compact camera in sunset mode.
