Details:
I managed to capture 8 Gigantic Jets over Tropical Storm Philippe when it was just east of Puerto Rico on Oct 3rd and 4th of 2023. Not all of these GJs were detected by the AI program developed by Levi Boggs of Georgia Tech because some GJ events don't leave the same signature as a classic GJ event. Some of the GJs I captured are known to be Type II GJ events and these types have very little or no trailing jet phase and so far, none of these have left a radio signature. More research needs to be done in order to better understand these types of GJ events.
