Details:
Last night, the ISS (International Space Station) passed in front of the Moon from where my house is located. These transits are constantly available at https://transit-finder.com/ I follow it on the website. From time to time, there are passages in front of the Moon and the Sun. The visible size of some of these transitions is small, and some are large. The space station is at an altitude of approximately 420 - 450 km above the Earth and orbits around the Earth at a speed of approximately 27,500 km per hour. If the Moon or Sun passes in front of the ISS while it is overhead, its apparent diameter becomes quite large. Its apparent magnitude during its passage last night was 37 arcseconds. Sometimes, when the Moon or the Sun passes very close to the horizon, its apparent magnitude is 10 - 15 arcseconds, during which even the solar panels are barely visible. While 60 – 65 arcseconds are visible in size, they can be seen in much more detail. The evening pass lasted 1.3 seconds. The video footage was edited to slow down.
