The Full September Supermoon was first glimpsed appearing through haze above the Cecil Kop Mutare horizon at 6.27 pm on the 29th. As it continued to rise it changed colour from magenta to deep red, orange and yellow as it approached and then disappeared into a layer of low cloud half an hour later. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in manual exposure mode.
