Details:
Super Harvest Moon as seen from Guadalupe California. I thought I'd include a quick and simple moon exposure guide for anyone who's interested, below: Since the Moon receives its light from the Sun, a normal, daylight, or day time camera exposure will render a normal looking Moon in a picture. The first two pictures in the animation were taken from the same position. The only difference between the first two pictures is the camera's shutter speed. The exposure time in the first frame in the animation was two seconds which reveals the palm tree in the picture, but over exposes and washes out the Moon. The exposure time in the second frame was taken at 1/125th of a second. This is a much faster shutter speed that matches a daylight, or a day time exposure. The second picture in the animation reveals detail in the moon, but under exposes the palm tree that's seen in the first picture.
