Details:
A huge thunderstorm cell may 200 X 300 km over the Frankfurt area brought a lot of trouble because of floods etc... on the ground. But this high voltaged cell brought also a lot of red sprites into the sky. The lightings could be recogniced 300- 400 km far away with very bright shinings.
