Details:
After two scrubs on July 18, a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 15 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit was launched this evening (July 19, 2023) from the Vandenberg SFB in Southern California. Though earlier predictions were that there would be no "sunset effect" of the plume, this launch took place during Nautical Twilight and the plume was quite visible once the rocket reached higher altitudes. This image was captured from my home 265 miles away with a handheld iPhone 13, f/1.5, ISO 4000, 1s exposure.
