Details:
Beautiful Aurora Borealis over Montana. I thought there was a chance of it coming out about 12 hours earlier, but I was definitely surprised how quickly the solar wind escalated throughout the day! Then had to contend with smoke, clouds, humidity, road construction, and cold weather to even get a decent shot. A long exposure taken with an old Canon 6D DSLR.
