Object/Date: C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) @ 2023 April 16, 00:01 UT Description: Comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on April 16, 2023, in conjunction with Haley's Coronet (NGC 1532), a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Eridanus. The comet, which has remained relatively bright for a year, is now in the southern skies and still displays a dust tail half a degree long.
