Details:
AR 3315 crossing the Sun in early May, the large sunspot is spanned by an impressive light bridges of hot and suspended solar gas. Note that the image is made using as telescope just a refractor 13 cm. Known as light bridges, these structures may form as large sunspot groups decay.
