Details:
Dave Cochran, Jeff Bates, Toby Bybee, Regina Hall, and I observed the flight of the Dragon capsule from 9:56 PM - 9:58, when it faded overhead near moon. Four minutes later, we headed the loud distinctive double sonic booms, indicating from the time delay that the craft was about 50 miles above our heads when it slowed down enough to go subsonic. We watched the NASA video of the safe recovery and then packed up from a great late show at the StarLight Drive In.
