Details:
I traveled to the top of badlands hills East of Cody, WY. From there I waited for the Sun to set behind Pilot Peak, 57-miles/92-km distant. Heavy smoke from Canadian forest fires helped to filter the Sun's disk and as it sank lower toward the horizon, several large sunspots became visible. Tripod mounted Canon 90D; EF 100-400mm f/5.6 with 1.4X extender; 1/400 @ f/10.0; ISO 400.
