Accidentally recorded newly discovered supernova SN 2023ixf . 5.5 hours or so after discovery. Saw SpaceWeather post from Eliot Herman, so checked my image for the supernova. H Alpha filter stack of 42 300s images hoping to add LRGB images later. Some high cloud so not best conditions. Meade LX200R 200mm, 0.6x focal reducer fl 1392mm. QHY533M at -10C, 300s, gain 100.
