Details:
On the morning of this May 9th, I pointed my telescope at the sun and was able to photograph sunspots AR3297 and AR3296 in high resolution. Sunspot AR3296 (on the right) has produced multiple flares since it appeared on the solar disk. Due to the turbulence of the atmosphere, to get this photo I had to capture dozens of videos to get one with enough quality to process. I used a Sky Watcher Maksutov 180mm aperture telescope, a Baader film solar filter, a 2X barlow, and a ZWO 174MM camera with a Player One Photosphere filter.
