Details:
It was cloudy when I saw it was red alert for Aurora,but the local weather showed some breaks in the cloud cover,around 2 am,so I just went nearby home,though I knew I wouldn't see them with all the lights from Todmorden but hopefully the camera (canon 6 D /Rokinon 24 1.2 lens 10 second exposures) would pick it up which is what happened,there was a largish break in the cloud around 12 45,and the camera picked up some images.
