Details:
Situated in St Ives Bay, in the far Southwest of the UK. Auroras appeared around 10pm, but the display became very active at 11:05pm with aurora curtains moving very quickly from right to left over the sky, very high up. Green ring base with purples and red above. Watched the display for a further 40 minutes where it danced across the sky. Visually, it appeared a misty white with hues of red and green. Photographed with Canon 550D and 10-20mm wide angle lens. Most settings were f4.0, 1600 ISO and 30 second exposures.
