Details:
Seeing how tonight there was a good chance of catching some auroras I decided to set up my photography gear under some powerlines outside. That was the only spot that had a clear line of sight towards the North. The auroras started off as a faint, green arch spanning from North-West towards the North-East. I was not expecting anything special. Though as I was capturing a timelapse they flared up massively. Green swirls, blue rays and purple curtains danced across the whole sky. Catching many passerby's off-guard as they stopped to film the amazing light show. The whole nearby building went out on their balconies to witness this event. I have never seen the auroras so visible and bright in my entire life. The peak lasted for a couple of minutes before dying down again leaving us with new memories for life. These were taken with my Sony A7RV camera with a 28mm F/2 Sony lens attached to it. Each image is 30 seconds of exposure with ISO of 100
