Details:
This image is a spherical panorama in "mini-planet" projection. A modified reflex camera was used to take consecutive shots of the landscape with a fisheye lens. The images were then stitched together with panorama editing software to form this view of the entire environment. The image was taken from the hill of Kaunispää (Finnish Lapland), next to Europe's longest toboggan run, on the night of 23-24 March, achieving a Kp index of 8. The wind chill was around -32°C and minutes later the lens and camera began to freeze, making it impossible to take any more pictures. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
