Object/Date: C/2020 V2 (ZTF) @ 2023 March 18, 19:57 UT Description: Comet C/2020 V2 (ZTF) imaged on March 18, 2023 halfway between its first approach to Earth and its perihelion, with a brightness at magnitude 9.5, its internal condensed coma is enveloped by a greenish and gaseous outer halo with 5.2' in angle size. The comet shows also a 10' long dust tail, and seems that a second tail of ionic nature is visible a little more open towards the east (to the left).
