Object/Date: C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) @ 2023 March 23, 18:33 UT Description: Comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on March 23, 2023, at magnitude 9 begins to move away definitely but still shows a V-shaped dust tail and a very faint ion tail a little further down. Having spent time near the south celestial pole, the comet now moves over constellation Eridanus. The bright star in the image is 82 Eridani at magnitude 4.3 and in which three super-Earths have been discovered.
