Details:
During the past 12 years of annual travel to Alaska for aurora viewing I have never captured a decent red aurora that persisted for many minutes. I was confirmed by the Poker Flats all sky webcam. This came after hours of off and on aurora outbursts and in between bouts of overcast skies. In addition, 52 satellites from the March 17 Starlink G2-8 were caught coming out of the Earth's shadow and passing toward the north horizon amongst the aurora.
