Details:
We do not often have the chance to see green-red auroras in The Netherlands, but with the intens solar storm this week it was reported at several places here. I expected that this was only possible at dark places outside a city. Nevertheless I gave it a try from home through the dormer window. It was not visble by naked eye, but I was very excited to capture it with a light-sensitive lens (f/1.8) in a city with severe light pollution. The timelapse was captured in a timeframe of 15 min when the highest aurora intensity occured.
