Details:
Guiding in Abisko, Sweden for Lights Over Lapland, we'd had very calm aurora and given the Bz being positive for most of the day we had given up. On the drive home the sky suddenly exploded in a big corona so we pulled over and managed to grab a few images. Is it to early for Russell-McPherron effect to be kicking in? I wasn't expecting anything as strong as this!
