Details:
A campsite in Florida's Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State ("dark-sky") Park opened up on Wed. Jan. 25 for the following two nights, which the NWS predicted to be "mostly clear," so we went there. Turns out, the only mostly clear time those two nights was about 4-6 AM Fri. The comet was near the Little Dipper then, which was clearly visible, even though that looks North, towards the Orlando area about 50 miles away. The comet was almost naked-eye visible, easily spotted in binocs. The attached photo is a stack of 10, taken over six minutes starting at 5:35 AM.
