Details:
The Venus-Saturn conjunction was closest (less than the diameter of the Moon) when viewed from Mutare between 20 and 45 minutes after sunset on 22nd January. As the light faded the star 49-Capricornus also became visible at the same level to the left of Venus. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset and night scenery modes.
