Details:
Clouds broke for a few minutes this morning and I was able to image the Comet. The tail has shortened since yesterday's tail detachment event but the inner coma was more structured. The anti-tail looking structure is actually the broad coma dust region which is very asymmetrical around the nucleus. Technical specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8, iso 1600, 36x180s 1.8 hours integrated time for left and center images, 1x180s for right image, Orion Sirius EQ Mount, PixInsight, Oracle, Arizona, sky; Bortle 4, transparency 5/10, broken cirrus, temperature 36F, Humidity 90%, no winds. Left image: minimized stars , center: inverted , right: stationary comet and stars.
