Details:
Trying to pick out just four images was not easy today...so much happening both N and S now!Best seeing lately allowed fine details with Lunt 60, B 1200 Ha diagonal, 12mm Plossl, and iPhone 12s, with original and noir settings. Thinking of getting a Lunt DS 60 double stack, but not sure it will give me much better than today's results for $1,800 extra! New group AR 3186 on NE limb is flaring with X class activity, but AR 3187, AR 3185, and finally AR 3180 also are active across the northern tier today. Down south, AR 3184 has a huge filaprom hanging off the lower left limb below it; very striking 3D feel to it! Most active group is 3184 passing just south of center, but AR 3183 on lower left limb is no slouch either! So many great images to decide on!
