Details:
In 2010 I accidentally shot some sunspots while capturing a sunset on a visit to the US. Twelve years later and working at Griffith Observatory, I am lucky to see them every day. Following one of the quietest solar cycles on record, 2022 was a busy year for the Sun. I compiled the most interesting regions of the year as seen from our coelostat. Here's to an even spottier 2023.
