Details:
On the morning of this December 20th, I was able to photograph a very bright flare between the active regions AR3169 and AR3171. I was trying to capture this chain of sunspots in more detail, when I started to see this brightening that was growing very rapidly. It is the first time that I can capture something like this in the wavelength of calcium (CaK). For photography I used a Sky Watcher Esprit 120 telescope, a Lunt B1800 calcium module, a Baader 2.25X barlow, and a Player One Apollo-m Mini camera.
