What I first thought was an auroral storm was instead an ice (light) pillar display early Sunday morning, December 18, 2022 from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Air temperature was 9 degrees F. These images were captured at 12:56 am CST and are 4 second exposures at f/2.8, ISO 500, 11mm focal length. Nikon D7200 DSLR camera.
