Retrograde motion of Mars next to the Golden Gate!
Right now Mars is in opposition to the Sun while shining brightest. On Dec 8, 2022 Mars has reached the middle of its loop on its retrograde motion.
This chrono-photography from the years 2007/08 shows quite exactly how it happens now 15 years later for the first time again.
