Details:
Using the McCarthy Observatory's main telescope, I was able to photograph 5 outer planets (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) during the same night in around just an hour from start to finish. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to photograph Neptune, but in the end I was able to get a single image of it. The way I captured these images was by pointing my Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 digital camera into the telescope's eyepiece.
