Last night the sunset produced a beautiful, complex mirage. The miraged images of the sun appeared on all inversion levels. Besides the mirage, I observed the spouts of two whales heading south (0:19) into the video. The sun was setting behind fog that was under the influence of Kelvin–Helmholtz instability, creating an appearance of the sun setting behind the ocean waves.
