On 9/26/22 I was looking for a weak Aurora and the images were very different than I expected…. more red. Images attached: 1) added reds and saturation in post processing, taken with 24mm lens 2) same photo as #1 with NO processing 3) same night, long lens, 600mm, stacked shot of star trails over the Grand Teton. Perhaps this is the SARarc you mentioned happening that night?
