Details:
On Tuesday 20th a dense accumulation of smoke-haze close to the horizon resulted in the setting Sun changing colour from deep yellow to orange and then magenta before disappearing behind the summit of Murahwa Mountain to the west of Mutare. Twenty minutes later a deep orange volcanic aerosol twilight arch with weak crepuscular rays developed above the sunset point. Cameras. Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 and ZS40 in sunset mode.
