Details:
A month ago, AR 3088 put on a fine display of CMEs and flares. It did not die out on the far side, despite it being so much colder on the dark side of the sun! It has made a full rotation, but now is reincarnated (as is the custom for all new spots on the visible disk) as AR 3102, and it is growing still. It is on the lower left of the disk today, and should be centered by Monday. To the west of it, large spot AR 3100 nears the SW limb, with AR 3101 between them in the southern hemisphere. The northern side is calmer, and the AR I hoped for on the NE limb has still to show up today. Lunt 60, B 1200 Ha diagonal, 12mm Plossl, iPhone 12s.
