Description:
Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) imaged on September 2, 2022 in conjunction with the blue star 23 Herculis of magnitude 6.4. This comet continues to progress in its approach increasing in brightness to magnitude 12.3, it is now 2.2 AU from the Sun and Earth. Its somewhat curved dust tail has an angular length of about 4'. Could reach near magnitude 4 at the beginning 2023.
