Details:
The moon rose a strong orange colour over the ancient St Mary's church on a lovely mild evening. It is fascinating that on the nights around the harvest full moon, the moonrise time only varies a little compared with other times of the year, giving farmers in the past more light within which to get the crops in over a number of days.
