Details:
Twice a year, if the weather is clear on 16 April and 25 August, the Sun viewed from my location in Murambi East can be seen setting exactly in the center of the Christmas Pass gap. The accompanying animation and pictures taken this Thursday 25th and Friday 26th August show the Sun disappearing in the middle of and then slightly off-center in the pass under clear and more hazy conditions. On the 26th the sunset was accompanied by transit of a nearby swallow in front. Camera: Tripod Mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset mode.
