Details:
For nearly a week now our geomagnetic environment has been rattled by fast flowing solar wind and an erratic magnetic Bz component within the interplanetary magnetic field caused by CME activity at the Sun. Here are my geomagnetic data for the period 17th-22nd August captured on my back yard magnetometer here in the UK.
