It had been a warm day so I presume the effects of the temperature gradients over the Atlantic caused some 'layering'. The Sun seemed to morph from a ball, to a pie, to a burger! I was lucky that a Coastguard Sikorsky helicopter flew across the view at one point too. Nature is so spectacular.
