Series of six occultations of Uranus starts on August 18. Figure 1: Path of Uranus and topograpfic positions of the Moon (15°E, 50°N) this year. Positions of the Moon are given in time step of 2 hours. Figure 2: Observability of single occultations from Eart surface. Figures and time lines are calculated for disappearances of Uranus. Phenomena at twilights are given by tints of blue.
