Details:
Last night a predicted aurora seemed to hit at the exact time it was forecasted. As I live in New Hampshire the storm levels need to reach Kp5 or greater to be able to photograph it which it did last night. As a time lapse photographer I find it easiest to set up my camera and let it shoot continuously as flare ups are often short lived. When processing the images early this morning I noticed that things really started to pick up around 11:30 pm. This frame was captured at 12:06 am ET just as clouds were starting to roll in.
