Details:
As reported in SpaceWeather today, we have a long, very active complex at about 15 deg. Be sure to play the video of the earth-directed CME heading our way. N latitude, starting in the west at AR 3058, and extending to the left to new AR 3063 and AR 3064, which gives a visual impression that the sun is developing a long crack just above center. To the NW, AR 3057 is the large dark spot nearing the limb, and the huge promineces from yesterday persist as marking the passage of AR 3056 onto the far side. Sunspot AR 3059 is the most obvious dark spot south of the center of the disk. and to the SE limb, new AR 3062 is flaring and accompanied by nice proms as well. Lunt 60, B 1200 Ha diagonal, 12mm Plossl, iPhone 12s.
