Growing up in the 80's ive always heard rumors of a secret hypersonic aircraft named aurora- 35 years later I believe its finally on display for the public to see. The black skin was a top secret us airforce material- made by BFGoodrich, a division of Raytheon, and adopted by NASA for secret projects. Raytheon recently successfully tested a hypersonic missile- and now here is a company named Hermeus revealing a hypersonic plane that was built in partnership with RTX(raytheon)
This is not a coincidence! Nasa has secretly been working with top secret technology in the last 30 years based off the raytheon and northrup grummen stealth programs such as the SR71 blackbird, f117 nighthawk, b2 spirit- the nasa x-33 venturestar, the x-43a and the nasa dreamliner are all vehicles built with technology originally protected under the national security protocol.
