Details:
Imagery taken today July 10th, in Hydrogen Alpha and Ca II K. The Hydrogen Alpha images were taken on a C11 using a Daystar Prominence filter. No obvious proms were noted surrounding the limb from my murky skies. Ca II K images were taken through an Orion ED80T CF refractor using a Lunt B600 Ca II K filter. The observing session was severely hampered by high altitude prefrontal Cirrus clouds which “parked” themselves in the general area of the Sun while leaving other parts of the sky beautifully cloud free for the day.
