Details:
Just about 09.29 UT, I saw this flare at AR 3056 close to the solar limb and took this photo. After some six minutes, I received the sms alert about the M1 class solar flare (09.35 UT). Two hours later the sky was overcast and a heavy thunderstorm rolled in, so I was lucky to catch the flare in full glory. Seeing conditions were poor, but it was a very nice view, joining all the other activity on the sun today. 90mm WO refractor, Baader ERF, Daystar Quark Chromosphere filter, ASI183MM camera.
