Details:
This is my final entry of the Grand Planetary Procession of 2022. Mercury, Venus, the Moon representing Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are lined up from E to SW in the same order as their distance from the Sun. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are in similar order themselves, but they're tucked away between the other planets (and you can't see them anyway). There's nothing scientifically significant about the lineup, it's just a novel, though attractive, and somewhat rare (to see them in order), sight to behold. Labeled and unlabeled versions.

You can visit my entry in the gallery for the Moon visiting each planet from E to W by following this chain of links.
