Details:
After a bit of a drought for noctilucent clouds from our area (at least for evening sky displays) we had a bright show on July 7 best just before midnight. This was from southern Alberta at latitude 51° N. Both images are multi-segment panoramas, with the waxing Moon illuminating the foreground. The bright blue-white NLCs contrast nicely with the colourful northern twilight, and the dark tropospheric clouds seen in silhouette.
