Details:
#1: The Moon greets Jupiter tonight, the second classical planet in the morning's planetary lineup as it heads towards the Sun. The inset, taken through the refractor, shows Jupiter's moons; Io entered Jupiter's shadow a few minutes later.

#2: The 3Q Moon occurred six hours earlier so technically you're looking at a crescent Moon.

#3: The planet parade during Jupiter's night in the spotlight.

Link to next planet in line to the west. (Neptune)
